Well Child
Our Well Child exams are intrumental in maintaining the health of your child, catching behavior and development concerns before they become problems, and ensuring your child is off to the very best start in life.

 

 

Your child's growth and development are examined at the following intervals:

  Hospital to first visit

Upon discharge from the hospital you will be advised when to make your first pediatric office appointment.

 
  3 days post-hospital

At the first visit we will check the infant’s weight and compare it to birth and discharge weights...

 
  1-2 weeks of age
At this second visit the infant is usually older than one week and we can now obtain the blood sample needed for the second newborn metabolic screen...
 
  1 month
concerns addressed especially regarding common problems with colic, formula intolerance, and more.
 
  2 months

At two-month visit a complete exam is done and the infant receives his/her first set of immunizations...

 
  4 months

Your infant will be starting to roll over at this age...

 
  6 months

Your infant will be starting to sit up at this age...

 
  9 months

Important milestones are reviewed and the child is referred for an eye exam under the state InfantSee program...

 
  12 months

At one year your infant will receive several more immunizations...

 
  15 months

Continued monitoring...
