I grew up in small town in east Texas and knew from an early age I wanted to go into medicine. I received my undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2010 and a second Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2013. In 2016, I graduated with my Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.

I have been working in pediatrics for over 4 years now, 3 of those being here at Lake Area Pediatrics. The relationships I have developed with my patients and their families are so special to me. I love everything about working with children from all ages, especially being able to watch them grow from their first newborn exam.

I am a licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas Medical Board and maintain my national certification by the NCCPA. I am a member of the American academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, running, cooking, and being active with my church. I have two small boys that keep me very busy!
